How to Take Care of Cookware Sets?

Before using your cookware set, it is suggested to clean the pans or pots with water and a cleaning agent that does not contain lemon. Never use a cleaning agent that contains lemon on any cookware products.

  • In case, any food is stuck to the bottom, never scratch to remove it, instead pour a bit of water into the pan or pot and let it soak over a low heat. After it’s been soaking over a low heat wipe it clean with a cloth or a sponge. The food remains that have been burnt on can be heated for a while and scraped off the bottom with a wooden spoon.
  • Avoid cleaning with metal objects, as it may damage the cookware.
  • Never put empty saucepans or with little water onto hot stoves.
  • Saucepans with thermo controllers should never be put into the dishwasher. Don't over tighten them too tight either as you might cause them to crack inside. The thermo controller will only last long if they are well-maintained.
  • To avoid small white dots or pits from forming on the stainless steel cooking surface of your stainless ware, bring liquids to a boil before adding salt, and then stir the ingredients well. You may choose to add salt after your food has started to cook.
  • To avoid discoloration, rinse in hot water and dry with a soft dishcloth immediately. Overheating can cause brown or blue stains. Food films if not removed will cause discoloration on your cookware when reheated.
