The exteriors of the cookware is hard anodized with aluminum core to allow an even heat distribution throughout the walls. The interiors are treated with three coats of DuPont which makes it extremely non-stick to any kind of culinary adventure. The dome shaped lids are made up of 18/10 stainless steel which returns all the moisture back to the food. The firm grip handles remain cool over the optimum temperature.
