A springform is the perfect choice for cakes, breads, tortes and cheesecakes that might otherwise be difficult to remove from pans. Brush a thin layer of butter or oil inside the pan prior to each use. The butter guarantees perfect release and promotes a smooth, tightly sealed crust, even browning and good flavor. No need to line the pan with parchment paper or dust the pan with flour, this can produce an unattractive white crust.
