| The other utensils must be approved of using with glass cookware so be absolutely sure of it prior to your buying decision.
In general some heat-resistant glass can be used for storage in refrigerator or freezer as well as for cooking on the oven, but it cannot be used on the range top. Only if it is approved for the range, that should be used for the same and if it is approved for other use, don't use it on the stove. This is because the glass is tempered for specific use in each of these cases and is not made for multiple temperature changes. Again hot glass cookware should never be placed on wet and damp places or exposed to cold water as the sudden change in the temperature can shatter the glass into pieces.
Cleaning the glass cookware is rather an easy task compared to other materials. Just a small amount of non-abrasive cleaners and water can do the job efficiently. Soaking the pan, pot or dish in water for some time can make the job of cleaning fairly easy. So if you can handle the temperamental glass cookware with care it is sure that it can last in your kitchen for a long time.
